Vijay Nadkarni Founder, President and CEO

Vijay has spent over 20 years in the wireless, networking and biomedical sectors and has demonstrated a consistent track record of conceiving and delivering first-to-market products. In addition to founding Mobiplex, Vijay founded Perceptronix and Wellcore, and was the co-founder of Veraz Networks, which had a successful IPO in 2007.

Vijay currently holds nine issued patents, and has several other patents in progress. He holds a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay; an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University, where he was a Walter Murphy Fellow; and an M.B.A. from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.

  • Vijay Nadkarni Founder, President and CEO

    Vijay has spent over 20 years in the wireless, networking and biomedical sectors and has demonstrated a consistent track record of conceiving and delivering first-to-market products.   • Van Krueger Chief Operating Officer

    Van brings over 18 years of executive operations and support management experience. Most recently, Van was CEO and President of Wellcore corporation and has a proven track record as a start-up company veteran. Van's primary focus has been to design and implement scalable operations solutions for consumer product companies like RePlayTV, Roku, Presto Services and Eye-Fi.

    Van holds a BA and MA from San Jose State University and enjoys being a musician in his free time.

  • Jeff Chase Chief Financial Officer

    Jeff Chase has been helping high-tech startups in executive roles since 2003. Most recently, he was CFO of Anametrix, a leader in real time marketing intelligence tools. Prior to Anametrix, Jeff was CFO of Qspeed Semiconductor, which was successfully sold to Power Integrations. Jeff was also CFO for Asoka USA, a power line communications adapter company, Aurora Systems, Inc., a fabless semiconductor LCOS technology company, and Intransa, an iSCSI storage device company. Jeff is a seasoned veteran in public companies as well, serving as VP of Finance at Cutera, Inc., Treasurer at Echelon Corporation and as an executive in finance at JDS Uniphase Corporation. In addition, he helped take ETEK Dynamics public in 1999. Jeff began his long-standing career in finance with positions at 3Com Corporation, Rolm Corporation, Deloitte San Francisco, and KPMG Honolulu.

  • Umang Salgia Co-founder, Vice President R&D and MD India

    Umang has a 15+ year career in product development building complex systems in the areas of networking, wireless, sensors, VoIP, Java and network management. Prior to founding Mobiplex, Umang was a senior engineer for product design at Wellcore corporation, Veraz Networks, Xoriant and Wirpo.

    Umang has a BE, Computer degree from Pune and a PG Diploma, telecommunications from PIAT.

  • David Grove Vice President of Customer Relations

    David brings a wealth of consumer-oriented as well as industry-based operational and strategic knowledge to Mobiplex. David has more than 10 years of experience in the sports, fitness, and wellness sectors and was most recently the President and CEO of ThinkFit, Inc. Mr. Grove has a strong passion for building and growing relationships and is a strong addition to the team.

    David holds an engineering degree from Oregon State University and an MBA degree from the University of Oregon.

  • Jotin Kehair Vice President of Business Development

    Jotin has over 18 years of experience as a business development expert focused on executing opportunities in life sciences, healthcare, finance, and technology industry. He specializes in new venture and market development with a concentration on cross border operations and emerging markets intermediation. Before joining Mobiplex, Jotin ran his consulting and business development firm offering operational excellence for life sciences, technology, and healthcare industry. He has funded and developed several new ventures, and has prior experience as a venture capitalist. He's advised venture backed start-ups, international high technology, and pre-IPO firms to increase their sales.

    Jotin holds a BA in Economics and mathematics from Lawrence University, and an MBA in Finance (executive programs) from the Stern School of Business, New York University. In his spare time, he does his best to improve on his scratch handicap.

  • Joseph Pinzarrone Vice President Manufacturing and Hardware Engineering

    Joseph has more than 20 years experience in product development, manufacturing and logistics in the consumer electronics arena. Before joining Mobiplex, Joseph founded a consulting group focused on new product design and manufacturing where he guided many successful technology startups including Zeemote Inc., Neato Robotics and EndPoints Inc. Prior to his consulting career, Joseph was a senior executive in product development and manufacturing for Kensington Technology Group and Logitech.

    Prior to his life in high-tech, Joseph was a pioneer in musical arts-technology at the University of Illinois and Northern Illinois University.

  • Kimberly Devine Vice President Marketing Communications

    Kimberly has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and sales. Most recently, Kimberly was the Co-Founder and President of Zydeco Spice LLC. As a senior consultant at Cohn & Wolfe and Fleishman-Hillard, she developed and drove high-impact marketing communication campaigns for more than 25 technology start-ups and industry leaders including HP, Sun Microsystems, SanDisk, Documentum and Wellcore corporation.

    During that time, Kimberly was a recipient of eight awards for successful PR and Digital Media programs on behalf of HP, SanDisk, and Documentum. She has a BA degree from Loyola University in Advertising and Psychology.

  • Craig Stadler Spokesperson and Active PGA Tour Professional

    One of the most popular and successful golfers on the circuit, Craig Stadler is affectionately called "The Walrus". In 1973 he won the U.S. Amateur and in 1982 he won four PGA Tour events including, The Masters. In addition to his 13 victories on the PGA tour, Craig played on the 1983 and 1985 Ryder Cup teams. His string of successes continued on the Champions Tour, where he was the leading money winner in his first full year on that tour in 2004.

    Craig is a graduate of the University of Southern California.

He's one of Golf Magazine’s “Top 100 Teachers” since 2000, and is currently ranked 15th in Golf Digest’s Top 50 Instructors.

    Malaska is the Worldwide Director of Instruction for Jack Nicklaus Academy, Consultant to TaylorMade/Adidas, Director of Instruction of Las Sendas G.C., and Director of Instruction at Superstition Mountain Golf and CC. His understanding of the golf swing, as well as his expertise at being able to analyze his student’s own physical capabilities, has made him one of the most sought after instructors in the world today. His goal is for every player, at any age and skill level, or with any physical handicap, to be able to enjoy and reap the rewards of the game.

  • Ray Leach Golf Advisor, Former NCAA / PGA Tour Player, Golf Instructor at Peacock Gap Golf Club

    A native a Marin County, CA, Ray was an outstanding junior player that led him to a career in golf. A roommate of Johnny Miller and graduate of BYU, Ray was named to four All-American Teams. He currently holds the NCAA record for tournaments won, 18, and Meadow Club course record of 60.

    Ray has sought the expert advice of many of the Worlds Top Instructors in helping formulate his simplistic teaching approach to mastering the mechanics of the golf swing. Currently a full time instructor at Peacock Golf Club, Ray is reestablishing his competitive position as a PGA Champions Tour Player.

    Robert Scannell Founder and Partner, Tradewinds Investment Management, LP

    Scannell is the founder and a General Partner of Tradewinds Investment Management, LP, an investment firm focused on emerging market, value and distressed investments. Prior to founding Tradewinds, Scannell spent nine years in institutional fixed-income sales at Merrill Lynch. Scannell holds a BA and MBA from Penn State University, a Juris Doctorate and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

    Sandeep Sherlekar, MD Owner, Advanced Pain Management

    Dr. Sherlekar is the founder and Principal of Advanced Pain Management Services, one of the premier pain management practices in the Washington D.C. Area. Previously, Dr. Sherlekar founded Capital Area Pain Management, a chain of clinics, and was the chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology of Civista Medical Center and Hospital and maintains strong affiliations with the medical departments of Johns Hopkins University and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Sherlekar was trained in India at Delhi University and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
